Ferndale Films is an independent production company based in Ireland. It was established in 1987 by Noel Pearson. He has been both a film and theatre producer in Europe and the U.S. for the past 30+ years. Ferndale's first Film My Left Foot was nominated for 5 Academy Awards in 1990 and won Two Oscars.

Pearson has produced numerous plays in Ireland, Britain, and the United States. His Broadway productions include Dancing at Lughnasa (a Tony Award winner, by Brian Friel), Someone Who'll Watch Over Me (by Frank McGuinness) and An Inspector Calls (a Tony Award winner, by J.B. Priestley).

As a producer, has won numerous awards including two Tony Awards, a Donatello for Best Foreign Producer and a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Film.
